Hello friends! We have officially completed one entire month of daily art! That's a momentous achievement to everyone that has followed along with this journey, not just for me but for all of YOU who decided to take on the challenge to create art every day. Studies have shown that it takes a minimum of 21 days to create a new belief system and to change your daily routine. Now that over 30 days have passed we have officially created a new daily routine!
Now on to this week's recap!
January 28th prompt - Succulent
What if plants looked like this naturally!?
Since I started painting all these objects my apartment has a nice little selection of rainbow colored plants and cute creatures.
January 29th prompt - Cactus Plant
This actually kind of looks like they grew this way.
This was my favorite one of the week, it looks like the colors are semi... sort of natural. As natural as a rainbow colored cacti could be. I'll have to paint more of these to make my home more magical and colorful!
January 30th prompt - Camel
Walking in a glitter desert...
When I was posing this camel for the photo the expression on his face was making me crack up so bad. He just looks like he doesn't give a shit. This camel is going places people.
January 31st prompt - Dinosaur Skull
I unearthed a new discovery!
This was honestly my least favorite of the week. Without the paint it looks like a prehistoric skull but with the paint it looks like a custom monster truck haha. I guess I could pretend it's a mad max style car in a Disney movie.
February 1st prompt - Lizard
Trying to blend in with your surrounds huh?
I wasn't going to add glitter to this lizard.. but when you add just a tiny bit you have to add at least half a bottle more for good measure. But the sunlight does reflect off this lizard making him look like a disco ball.
February 2nd prompt - Dinosaur Skeleton
I can't escape from the gradient colors.
The caption I had on Instagram for this photo was, "Ruby the Intergalactic T-Rex takes a stroll pondering the universe and the age old question.. what should she have for dinner." It's a daily struggle for humans and for dinosaurs.
February 3rd prompt - Armadillo
Strolling along in the glitter forest
This armadillo looks like it's taken one too many hallucinogenic mushrooms.
Well friends, this concludes this week's recap! I hope you enjoyed it and I hope that you also created lots of fabulous art! Comment below with the art that you created this week. I want to see it!
Have a fantastic week!
